Matthew Presti

Hometown: Grand Lake, Colorado

Matthew is a Southern Colorado native who grew up fishing the Arkansas River and learning the rhythms of the region— from tailwater days to windy stillwaters and everything in between. He’s an avid fly fisherman and boater who values a straightforward approach: read the water, control depth, stay adaptable, and fish with intent.

After gaining experience guiding in Northern Colorado, Matthew now guides in the Arkansas Valley of Colorado and on the home waters of Silver Creek Lakes Club. His focus is helping anglers build a repeatable stillwater system—working structure, selecting a manageable set of presentations, and making smart changes based on wind, light, and water temperature.

Matthew loves boat fishing in Colorado’s mountain valleys and has a soft spot for big browns. Guided days on the property are available, along with select Arkansas River trips when conditions align.

Jacob Meier

Hometown: Grand Lake, Colorado

Jacob is a longtime Colorado angler and experienced guide from the Grand Lake / Granby area, where changing weather, stillwater seasons, and streamer windows are part of the lifestyle. His guiding style is calm and practical—focused on helping anglers understand “why” a spot and approach makes sense, not just what to tie on.

Jacob excels on stillwater: identifying productive depth zones, fishing edges and drop-offs, and dialing retrieve cadence. When rivers are in shape, he’s an avid streamer fisherman who enjoys teaching the details that move fish—line control, angles, and keeping your fly in the zone.

If you like learning and leaving the day with a simple, repeatable plan, you’ll get along well with Jacob. He’s especially great with intermediate anglers looking to level up their stillwater confidence.
